Before bending the mesh, measure and mark where the bend is needed. The mesh may need to be bent up or down, depending on the site.

To create a wooden brake, secure the gutter guard piece between two pieces of wood and securely clamp both sides of the pieces of wood together. Now you can manually bend the mesh.
